It is certainly not the goal of the property to make our guests feel nickel and dimed. Overall the rooms and location made up for most of the issues and we found ways to work around them, usually at our own expense, but an overall good experience,… those were my biggest gripes, other small annoyances were the fact that my conditioner was empty the entire time even though i informed staff, I could not stream to my tv, even though there was a complete seperate channel for it and that we were on a few occasions told that they had no tables outside, even though there were several in view that were available, and not reserved, They were just not being used that night. I would have been happy to park my own car and take my time loading and unloading it. for us going on excursions, or shopping, or for dinner that was 4-6 tips per day. ![]() I now am forced to tip coming and going every time i want to go off grounds. Also not allowing people to park their own cars. We had to stay a few feet off of the zota beach and then were told we could not use the lounge chairs (which was part of the resort fee) very bad experience. it looks petty and like you are trying to nickel and dime people already paying a good amount of money and a resort fee. for instance, paying almost 450 dollars a night and paying a resort fee, but charging 25 dollars for an umbrella? then not allowing someone to bring their own? I mean it is an impossibility to lay on the beach all day with no respite from the sun. You have great accommodations, but it not a cheap hotel to stay at, and I have a few things that really bothered me. In regard, to the other areas you mentioned, we have followed up with the appropriate departments. Therefore, for the fairness of all of our guests, we chose not to include the cost of an umbrella in the daily cost of the room. However, not every guest uses an umbrella every day of his or her stay and Florida's temperamental weather can leave some days lacking. We have discussed including the cost of an umbrella on the beach in the cost of the room. We do believe it was a miscommunication on the resort fee the items included are listed on the inside of your key packet given to you at the time of check-in. It looks like we did get that resolved at your time of checkout, while we reviewed your final bill with you in detail, and provided a refund for the incorrect cost. We do apologize for the incorrect cost of the room on your bill. We are happy to hear we were able to get you into a room of your approval.
